News: Mar 2008
As you will see from our Gallery page we have a new member of staff!
Wesley the Clydesdale is a regular helper on our horsebox training courses where we use him to load and unload and show you how to set the box up properly for him. At 17.2 hands he is a bit of a big lad but a gentle giant. Starring alongside him on some courses is our cob mare, Krystal. Now she is a woman with attitude!
Ahoy Shipmates
We will shortly be running 4x4 training for the Royal Navy. 'I thought they drove ships and not Land Rovers,' I hear you say. We thought that too but apparently these good chaps and chapesses in blue are deployed all over the world. Pay 'em some more we say.
Need some gardening doing?
You need to speak to some people called Mundell Landscapes. They are a landscaping company in the West of Scotland. We have just finished providing all their pesonnel with a full programme of Health and Safety training. (Didn't know we did that too, did you?) Manual Handling, Fire Safety and General Site Safety Training. Nice to know if they happen to be working in the same place you are!
Rugby (Stand by for a rant!!)
Nothing to do with driver training - but Hoorah for Scotland's recent victory over the Auld Enemy at Murrayfield. We thought we'd mention it as the BBC did its best not to.
As usual the dear old BBC couldn't see past Johnny-boy's record points total and totally neglected to mention the fact it didn't do them much chuffin good as they still LOST! BBC - more like the English Broadcasting Corporation it seems as they clearly sulk when things don't go England's way. If you dear people south of the Border wonder why the Scots have a gripe - just try watching sport on the BBC in Scotland and you'll understand why.
(By the way BBC News people, it was interesting to see you had such terrible weather recently the PM had to recall people for meetings to protect the national infrastructure. 70mph winds, rain and snow are the norm for us -we just get on with it without a fuss!)
