Trailer Test Training - 2 Days (B+Entitlement)
Our 2 day course is suitable for the complete novice and will be adequate to prepare most individuals for the DSA test*.

For those with some experience, a one-day course option is available.
The course covers all aspects of the test including trailer safety checks, reversing and driving on the road.
You will be taught by an experienced instructor who has worked with trailers and articulated vehicles for many years.
*Our first time pass rate is currently over 95% and we give our clients honest advice on when they are at the correct standard to sit the test with a good chance of passing. If we think you need extra instruction we will tell you.
This training can be provided at weekends and over a period of 4 Saturday mornings for those unable to attend training at normal times.
Do I need to sit a test?
If you sat your car test after 1 Jan 1997 you will not have the 'E' entitlement on your licence. In simple terms this means you may only tow a trailer up to 750kg behind a car. If you wish to tow anything bigger such as a horse box, plant trailer or some larger caravans, you will need to sit a Driving Standards Agency test for car and trailer (category B+E). If you are using it for work you may also need an operator's licence and tachograph.
If you already have the entitlement but have never towed before we strongly recommend you attend our trailer safety course.
